Yes, it is that time again - the daily doings of the Typing Queen. Working from home does have its advantages, albeit -minor ones, but I have graciously gotten use to these advantages, and look forward to them. One being, quiet time when the kids are in school. This soon will end when the bell rings for summer to begin. I will then be readjusting my schedule and figuring out once again how to work around their schedules and needs in order to keep my deadlines on track. Deadlines - a word that sometimes just makes me shutter. Sometimes, I just feel like putting my feet up and turning on the tv to watch - whatever, but I have to be vigilant in my quest to stay ahead of the game and keep the work flowing timely. Becoming side-tracked while home working, is very easy, and understandable. I could constantly be doing some form of housework at all hours of the day, but I focus on my schedule and remind myself to, sure, throw a load of laundry in, but not to worry about top to bottom cleaning, especially when the clock is ticking and a deadline is looming.
